GRWM | My Soft Pink Look

1.30.2016

Get Ready With Me (GRWM) series is back!

This is one of the look I wore recently to a girl's night out. Transitioned this look from work to play by adding extra mascara and bold lips.
This is a very easy look that you can rock at any occasions without feeling overwhelming. It's suitable for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration too!

WOTE | Walk Off The Earth

1.17.2016

Hello everyone! How's January so far? :)
I felt like it's been way too long since I've blog about the music. & also I've abandoned my Wednesday Jams series. I hope I can still get back in track with that.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned about this band in this blog, but if I did, it is worth a second mention here.

WALK OFF THE EARTH. Amazing talent. In terms of music, creativity and production. They sound so harmonized and energetic as a team. Each and everyone of them have their own unique style. They never over shadow each other as well. Of course I have my own bias, Ryan Marshall.

They went viral with their 5-man-one-guitar video covering Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know.

They are very well-known for using unconventional "instruments". Listen to one of their latest covers on Adele's Hello.

or another (funnier) version of it here.

The people they collab with are also very amazingly talented! ugh, so much talent!

(after 10 minutes scrolling through Ryan Marshall's Facebook and Pinteresting/Googling his picture)
(while listening to their playlist, trying to pick my favorite song)

I can't decide. All of their covers and originals are so freaking on point and addictive. So I'll just share one that's playing right now.

Rule The World.

Getting y'all hyped up for the new challenges next week!

Just go spend your night listening to them, HERE.
I want to watch them live one day.

Highlight of 2015

1.12.2016

Hello! I am really happy many of you gave me some feedback on my previous video/post. Thank you!

I want to talk a little about me setting my resolutions this year. I do this every year. But I thought I did it better last year. I wrote down what I wanted with lots of thinking and amending. Did I tick them all off? Nope. Not all. But HALF.

So here's some of my highlights of 2015.
(P/S: Notice how many times I've mentioned the word "INCREDIBLE". I guess it really was an incredible year)

I've been debating whether I should include the last part but, gotta keep it real. It's been a real struggle but I'd overcome it! :)  I hope I don't offend anyone.
Also, I need to work on talking in front of the camera.

As cheesy as it may be, THANK YOU A ZILLION.
No matter if you've just appeared in my life or have left me for good.

And extra THANK YOU AND HUGS AND KISSES,
to those who are still here with me, going through all the ugly and pretty side of me.

I LOVE Y'ALL!

I'll keep my 2016 resolution/bucket list to myself as I did in 2015 until I've achieved them.
& I promise I'll bring you along the journey.

PEACE.

Lookbook | Oversized Outerwear

1.02.2016

Hello. 2016.
I'm starting off my first 2016 blogpost by ticking off one of my 2015 bucket list. Talk about procrastinating tho.

I've always have this in mind but always didn't make it happen. SIGH. But no more excuses as I was hitting towards the end of 2015. If I want it, I'm making it happen. mhmm. So gungho because it is the beginning of the year. Let's not jinx this but keep the energy up up up throughout the year.

SO TADA! Final product of my first LOOKBOOK. I'm styling some of my favorite outerwear as a kickstart of my lookbook series.

I hope you enjoy this video!

Definitely doing a recap for my 2015 but at the meantime, I'll go make some lunch. *stomachgrowling*
