this is a rather personal post.

to be honest, I've always thought myself of being quite, successful. (haha ok laugh all you want)
well, define success.

It's being happy, and worry less.
that is how I would define success.

I will not say i am VERY successful because I have times when I get very very emotional that I would let negativity override me, like times when the TOM (time of the month) is around the corner.
but I guess I am pretty much improving on controlling the emotional moments.

I mean when we need to grief, we grief.
and afterwards, get over it.

What inspired me to write on this.
Last week has been a pretty hectic week for us for assignments and presentation due dates, so everyone was stressed up and going all bibobibobibo.
then one of my friend ask me: why you still can be so happy one ah!
"huh? happy? No, I am stressed up ok, I haven't do this, I haven't do that but it's ok lah I can do this one lah. "
"nah you see you can still be so happy and smile and laugh when you say you stress one."

and so I realize this is (perhaps) something I am blessed with.
I don't really know thou,
whether it is the gene or I just learned to be happy.

hah, I don't know but does it even matter?

there's so many sad cases of young people committing suicide.
if only people could focus on success in terms of being happy, not how many As you get on the cert, not how much money you earn, but just being happy

So if you are feeling a little down,
add a BUT in every negativity,

"It's a bad day, but it is going to end, it's not a bad life"

worry is like a rocking chair, it brings you to nowhere and it drains your energy,
if you don't like something, do something to change it.

in psychology we call this the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
to make it simple,
we call it looking at the bright side, stay positive.

have a nice day!

Etude House Perfect Brow Kit

hello hello! It's been quite a while I have not update about how my life is running. heh. Well, it has been running (busy) pretty normally. a bit of sparkles in between boring routines. so i guess it is so far going on well. :)

I have been reading journals all day long. and i need a break. so I came by just to update a bit.

This time, I am introducing you my life, my essential that I cannot leave my house without: my Etude House Perfect Brow Kit.
My friends would probably know this very well, how much i NEED eyebrow kit. I am not blessed with full and thick brows, you would probably think i have no brows at all once I take a picture with flashlights on with my bare face. Been looking up and down for the perfect brow kit and shade, this one is by far my favorite!

Small and light so it is easy for me to carry around!

3 shades all together. can be used as contour and highlight on the nose as well, talk about multifunctions.
the brown shades can be used to create a natural looking brows by using the lighter on at the head of your brows and the darker one at the end.

left end: an angle brush that makes the whole process wayyyyy easier!
right end: fluffy brush for contouring and highlighting purpose :)

and it come with this spiral brush to keep your brows tidy and natural.

so here are some of my pictures using the brow kit.

For me, this is by far my favorite because:
1. the shade can be controlled easily (mix and match between the 2 colors)
2. convenient to bring around (with a mirror attached to it so no need to fuss around looking for mirrors)
3. easy to use. we all know how eyebrow pencil is difficult to use. so if you are not good at drawing your brows (like i am), try the powder one.
4. i believe it is inexpensive. definitely under RM50 for this. I have been using it for almost a year (and i use it almost everyday!)  still have not finish it yet. worth the price *thumbsup*

last but not least. feel free to experiment with different brows! they could definitely change the whole look :D
:) I hope you find this blogpost informative!

let's see if I could squeeze some time for a March favorite post heh.

Hi good afternoon! :)
The reason of me not blogging much is because, piles and piles of work are waiting for me.
but short and sweet blog post will be up!

so, these days, my parents and I are having this 'trend' to eat yogurt after they came back from Sri Lanka.
and I find it very yummy too! great for those craving for sweet but guilt-free stuff.

Here is the simple recipe:
- plain low-fat yogurt
- fruit jam (I am using strawberry jam)
- nuts (almond, pumpkin seeds or cashew nuts)

stir em up and you are good to go.
guilt-free yet yummy yogurt! :D

tips: put the jam and yogurt in the refrigerator so that you can have a ice-cream like yogurt!
